Dalhousie, 6728 feet above sea level, is a hill station par excellence. Situated on the outer slopes of Dhauladhar Range, Dalhousie is known for its bracing climate, picturesque landscapes and beautiful picnic spots. The most distinctive features are the level walks and interesting tracks amidst dense forest. It is one of the best and inexpensive hill stations.
